Noah Green: Growing Up Blue Groove
Share
Some rider showcases are a little closer to home than others.
We’ve known Noah Green for a long time. In fact, if you’ve spent any time looking around the Blue Groove website, there’s a good chance you’ve already seen him without realizing it. That young bloke working on a BMX frame in one of our photos? That’s Noah.
Blue Groove has supported Noah for years, and we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow from that kid in the shop into a seriously talented freestyle rider. He’s as much a part of the Blue Groove family as anyone, which makes watching where his riding has gone pretty bloody special.
These days Noah is part of the Backbone BMX crew and has been putting together some excellent competition results, including a podium at the 2025 Australian BMX Freestyle National Championships. But results only tell you so much about Noah.
We had the cameras out at King of Brisbane this year and captured a couple of things that probably explain it better. Noah absolutely sent it. Fast, committed and doing the sort of stuff that makes everyone watching stop what they’re doing for a minute.
For us, though, the best part isn’t a placing or a result.
It’s looking at that old photo of Noah, then looking at the rider he is today.
We’ve watched this kid grow up. We’ve watched the riding progress, we’ve supported him along the way, and now we get to watch him make his own mark on Australian BMX.
That’s pretty bloody cool.
Keep sending it, Noah.
From everyone at Blue Groove. We’re proud of you, mate.
