Shopping & Orders

How do I know what BMX is right for me?

Start with the rider's height, experience and the type of riding they want to do. If you're comparing bikes, contact Blue Groove with those details and we'll help narrow down the options before you order.

Can you help with bike sizing?

Yes. BMX sizing is not just about age. Rider height, current bike, experience and riding style all matter. Send us the rider's details and we can help work out a sensible starting point.

Can I order something you don't currently stock?

Contact us with the exact product, size or colour you're chasing. We'll let you know whether it can be sourced and what the current options are.

How will I know when my order is ready?

If your order is being collected, wait for confirmation that it is ready before making the trip. For shipped orders, tracking or dispatch information will be sent once the order is on its way.

Do you offer local pickup?

If local pickup is available for the items in your cart, Shopify will show it as an option at checkout. If you need to confirm pickup before ordering, contact us.

How much does shipping cost?

Blue Groove Workshop

Do I need to book workshop work?

No appointment is required for a Safety Check, Silver Service or Gold Service. Purchase the service online, then bring the bike to Blue Groove during opening hours and we'll confirm turnaround at drop-off. For other workshop jobs, contact Blue Groove first so we can discuss the work; those services are paid in store. See the Workshop page for current pricing and details.

Do you work on both race and freestyle BMX bikes?

Yes. Blue Groove's BMX workshop covers common race and freestyle servicing, repairs and component work. If the job is unusual, contact us first and we'll confirm whether we can help.

Are replacement parts included in workshop pricing?

Listed Workshop prices are labour unless stated otherwise. Replacement parts and additional work are extra where required and will be confirmed before proceeding.

Can you do work that isn't listed on the Workshop page?

Possibly. Send us the details of the bike and the work you need. We'll confirm whether it is something the Workshop can take on.

How long does workshop work normally take?

Turnaround depends on the job, parts availability and current Workshop workload. For prepaid services, turnaround is confirmed when you drop the bike off. For other work, we'll give you a useful indication once the job has been scoped.

BMX Bikes & Parts

Can you help check whether a part will fit my BMX?

Yes. Send us the bike make, model and year if known, the current component details and the part you're considering. Photos can also help. We'll help check compatibility before you order where possible.

Do you build complete or custom BMX bikes?

We can help plan BMX builds, check component compatibility and scope the Workshop work required. Contact us with the frame or bike, the parts you already have and what you're trying to achieve.

Can you install parts purchased from Blue Groove?

Yes, the Workshop offers installation for a range of common BMX components. Check the Workshop page for listed labour pricing or contact us for a specific job.

Can you install parts I already own?

Often, yes, provided the parts are suitable and compatible with the bike. Contact the Workshop first so the job can be checked before you bring everything in.
