BSD grew from a group of BMX friends riding, filming and travelling together in the early 1990s, with the first BSD product released in 1998. The rider-owned brand has since developed into a full BMX hardgoods company producing frames, forks, bars, hubs, rims, tyres, drivetrain parts and other components shaped around contemporary freestyle riding. BSD’s product development is closely tied to its team and the way those riders use their bikes, with an emphasis on original design, practical engineering and parts intended to survive hard street, park and transition riding.
