Izumi Chain began in Japan in 1916 as a specialist roller-chain manufacturer and has more than a century of experience producing bicycle chains. The company’s cycling range covers track, BMX, e-bike and other single-speed and multi-use applications, with manufacturing knowledge centred on pins, plates, rollers, heat treatment and consistent chain construction. Izumi is particularly well known where a simple, strong drivetrain is valued, making its products relevant to BMX and track riders as well as other cycling disciplines. Chain manufacturing is not one category among many for Izumi; it is the core of the company’s technical identity.
