The Odyssey Bluebird Chain is a proven full-link BMX chain with a clever extra: a factory-installed half-link at one end.
That gives you the reliability of the KMC-based chain while letting you fine-tune chain length when your gearing or dropout position lands awkwardly between full links. Because the half-link is assembled at the factory, the joint is stronger than adding one later in the workshop.
Full-link chain when you want it, half-link adjustment when you need it. Sensible.
