Description
The Promax C-1 Chain Tensioners are for BMX race frames without built-in tensioners, helping stop the rear axle creeping forward under load and letting you keep chain tension where you set it.
The machined alloy body suits 3/8-inch and 10mm axles, with two axle positions giving you room to line the tensioner up properly with the dropout.
Small part, but a chain going slack halfway down the first straight makes a pretty convincing case for having them.
