BMX wheel building covers everything from straightening and re-tensioning an existing wheel through to building a fresh wheel from a compatible hub, rim and spoke set. Blue Groove offers wheel true and tension work, custom builds using your own parts, and custom builds using parts purchased through the shop.

For a new build, the hub, rim, spoke count, lacing pattern and spoke length all need to work together before the wheel goes on the stand. If you are supplying your own parts, bring the full component set so compatibility can be checked before work starts.
