Collection: BMX Stem Locks

BMX stem locks are an alternative to the usual star-nut and top-cap arrangement on compatible threadless front ends, commonly used on race bikes and carbon-fork setups. Blue Groove carries stem locks across multiple steerer sizes, including systems designed to keep the headset secure and, on some setups, allow brake-cable routing through the front end.

They are not universal. Match the lock to the fork steerer diameter and the stem/headset setup, and check whether the fork manufacturer requires a specific compression or retention system. If you’re replacing an existing stem lock, use its size and hardware as the reference.
