Description
The Promax SL-1 Stem Lock replaces the usual star-nut-and-top-cap arrangement with a locking system designed to keep a threadless BMX fork secured and the headset adjusted.
The machined alloy unit is available for 1-inch and 1-1/8-inch steerers and is especially useful on race bikes where riders want a more positive fork-retention setup.
Match the lock to the steerer size before fitting. Headset preload and fork retention are not areas for creative interpretation.
