BMX brake cables cover more than just a length of inner wire. The setup can include standard or linear cables, gyro upper and lower cables, straddle cables, guides, stops, barrel adjusters and the small hardware that keeps the whole system working properly.

Match the cable to the lever and brake system first, then check housing length, inner-cable ends and any gyro-specific requirements before ordering. If you’re replacing a small part, match it to the existing cable system rather than assuming the closest-looking option will work.
