Maxxis began in Taiwan as a bicycle-tyre manufacturer before growing into a global tyre company serving bicycles and other vehicle categories. Cycling remains a core part of the brand, with dedicated tyres for BMX, mountain biking, road, gravel and other disciplines developed around different casing, compound and tread requirements. In BMX, Maxxis products span race and general riding applications where rolling speed, grip and tyre profile all matter. The company’s long tyre-manufacturing background gives the brand a development base that extends well beyond graphics or sponsorship: rubber, casing construction and how a tyre behaves on the surface are the product.
