S-One is the product branding used by S1 Helmet Co., an independently operated California protective-equipment company with roots in skateboarding, BMX and other action sports. S1 developed its Lifer helmet after laboratory testing highlighted the limitations of traditional soft-foam skate helmets, leading the company toward certified multi-impact head protection. The range has expanded into helmets and pads used across BMX, cycling, skating and related riding. S-One’s identity is built around protective equipment first: fit, certification, impact management and products designed by a company that came directly from the action-sports communities using them.
