Terrible One — commonly shortened to T-1 — is an Austin, Texas BMX company closely associated with rider Joe Rich and a rider-led philosophy that has remained deliberately independent. The brand produces frames, handlebars, sprockets, grips and other hardgoods, but its identity extends well beyond a parts catalogue into riding, travel, friendships and the creative side of BMX culture. T-1 has long been associated with trails and transition riding while still supporting broader freestyle BMX. Its products carry the same uncomplicated character as the brand itself: equipment shaped by riders who have spent decades treating BMX as a way of life rather than simply a market.
